Training & Development Coordinator
Position will be responsible for designing, administering, and delivering training programs that drive performance results. This key role partners with clients/training specialist and internal programs to analyze specific business needs, performance gaps, and participate in effective training delivery including analysis, implementation, testing and documentation of training programs. This position will be the point of contact for technology training needs and will consult and work with cross functional customers, training specialists, project teams, leaders, and/or other stakeholders to conduct needs assessments to identify and evaluate training requirements.
Qualified individuals should be self‐motivated and must gain an understanding of our products and customers with minimal guidance. They must be able to independently research requirements and operations and communicate effectively with other groups as needed to fulfill responsibilities. Excellent communication skills, ability to multi‐task, work as a team player and the capability to think on their feet and an ability to support multiple products and customers are needed to succeed in this role

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develops training materials in accordance with company style guidelines including training handbooks, job aids, models, multimedia visual aids, computer, and web-based tutorials, and standard operating procedures.
- Participates in effective training delivery including analysis, implementation, testing, and documentation of training programs
- Recommends and implements ingenious, state-of-the-art solutions, modifications, and enhancements to technology training programs
- Conducts extensive research and uncovers trends in cutting-edge technological training and methods and assesses the effectiveness of existing training and development programs
- Consults and works with customers, cross‐functional project teams, leaders, and/or other stakeholders and conducts needs assessments to identify and evaluate training requirements
- Administers training programs according to business needs and regulatory requirements
- Serves as point of contact for technology training needs
- Recommend and outline new training topics for seminars, CBT, or video modes based on client call experience
Other Responsibilities:
- May be required to perform customer-support duties such as help desk assistance and other functions as needed

- Be highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Project, Visio, and any Learning Management or Training development tools
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or
- Associate Degree plus 2 years related work experience, or
- High School plus 5 years of related work experience
Experience Preferred:
- Some teaching and training experience in the relevant field either through in‐person or online teaching/training
- Working knowledge of Transit Industry
- Experience in the Public Transit market
