Professional Services Engineer

The Professional Services Engineer (PSE) delivers adoption training and system support to help customers fully utilize Avail’s technology. This role requires strong customer-facing communication skills, the ability to address challenges in real-time, and the capability to navigate customer discussions towards positive, mutually beneficial outcomes. The PSE operates in a consultative capacity to understand customer needs and then develops and executes plans that align with their goals and objectives.
This position requires a deep understanding of the technical implementation and integration of Avail’s products within each customer’s operating environment. The PSE brings strong technical knowledge, active listening, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Success in this role depends on close collaboration with stakeholders at all levels to identify unique requirements and develop tailored solutions.
The PSE plays a key role in driving adoption of Avail solutions by enabling customer teams to effectively leverage Avail’s product suite, improving operations and maximizing overall return on investment

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct adoption gap analysis for assigned customers and present insight and recommendations to key stakeholders and leadership
  • Develop and implement tailored adoption strategies to address gaps and drive improvement in areas of deficiency
  • Perform on-site customer visits to evaluate system usage across all levels of the organization and ensure alignment with intended outcomes
  • Create, maintain, and track customer success plans that define short- and long-term technology objectives
  • Lead regular cadence meetings with customers and internal staff to review progress, priorities, and next steps
  • Develop deep expertise in Avail ETMS platform and clearly articulate its value in supporting customer operations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive accountability and ensure timely completion of assigned action items
  • Proactively communicate customer challenges, risks, and opportunities to the internal teams, including leadership
  • Act as trusted advisory and escalation point for customers, providing consultative support and helping shape their future technology roadmap

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferably in computer Science or related field
  • Associates degree with 5 years or more of professional work experience
