Dynamics Administrator

We are seeking someone to drive our organization as we integrate disparate systems to a Dynamics 365 business solutions. If selected you will be our Dynamics 365 SME working directly with business stakeholders, business/platform analysts, quality, and members of the senior leadership team to integrate Dynamics CRM, Business Central, and Project Service Automation solutions into our ecosystem.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Understand the business process to facilitate the discovery of entities, attributes, relationships, and business rules from functional experts and the user community
  • Prototyping concepts, documentation of systems, architectures, and business process flows
  • Identify root cause issues across platforms and take necessary actions to resolve them permanently
  • Stay abreast of product releases from Microsoft
  • Guide the design, configuration and testing of core Dynamics 365 modules
  • Work with customers to understand their business requirements and conduct gap analysis
  • Develop and enforce development standards and best practices
  • Ensure that a state of high availability is maintained for top tier applications
  • Provide first and second level technical and Dynamics-specific business process support for end users via company Help Desk through email, phone, IM, and remote desktop sessions
  • Triage support tickets requiring technical or functional escalation and route them appropriately
  • Contribute to end-user training through remote one-on-one sessions, as well as small group webinars
  • Perform general system and data maintenance
  • Responsible for maintenance & upkeep of Microsoft Dynamics
  • Manage Dynamics licenses & upgrades
  • Maintains close collaboration with vendors to ensure timely support whenever necessary
  • Works closely with the developers of applications to advise concerning changes on system-levels
  • Responsible for maintaining user access & security
  • Monitors the system and reviews and analyzes system logs
  • Prioritize, plan and track project progress and provide status reporting to the IT Director
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
  • Perform other assignments or duties appropriate to the overall responsibility of the position of Dynamics Administrator, as requested or assigned

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Business, or equivalent experience and training
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 a plus
